how to use

This website is one of the core activities of the EU-funded project ‘Fostering Communication and Cooperation among NSAs for the benefit of Swazi civil society’ punto.sud is implementing together with COSPE in Swaziland.

The main aim of the website is to improve access of Swazi Civil Society Organisations to information, methods and best practices on project design & management to facilitate their access to funding of any donor and their performance when managing projects. Moreover, to facilitate in particular the relationship of the Swazi CSOs with EuropeAid and the adoption of a set of quality standards compatible with EC requirements, the website dedicates a key section to the preparation, implementation and closing of EuropeAid funded actions.

The information included in the website comes from different sources:

  • Working tools, manuals and tips on project design & management comes from funding agencies, development & cooperation organisations and other related actors;
  • Templates and procedures related to EuropeAid come from official publications published by the European Commission and its Directorate General in charge with the Development and Cooperation (EuropeAid).

Many working tools and tips have however been developed by punto.sud: in any case, all sources of information are clearly quoted.

The portal targets in particular all Swazi Civil Society Organisations, their staff and other actors involved in the access and management of EC-awarded grants. Civil Society Organisations working in Swaziland are also welcome to use the website, as it aims at promoting the ultimate provision of timely, relevant, independent and accountable project realisations in the country.
