 +====THE PROJECT====
 +
 +The on-going EU-funded project ‘Fostering Communication and Cooperation among NSAs for the benefit of Swazi civil society’ (FED/2012/307-510), implemented by COSPE and punto.sud, appreciates the integral role played by the Civil Society in Swaziland and its relevance in advancing human rights and sustainable development. It therefore aims to enhance its impact and effectiveness through three main lines of work:
 +  *Improve communication flows and mechanisms and its relevance to Civil Society’s agendas.
 +  *Increase CSOs’ advocacy efforts’ effectiveness by increasing coordination among respective agendas.
 +  *Enhance CSOs’ capacities and skills in project management and to access resources.
 +In the frame of the project, punto.sud is in particular in charge of the capacity enhancement component, whose activities are designed and implemented to ensure access to key information for procedural alignment to European Union / main donors’ standards and regulations (in particular on project planning, project management and organisational accountability). \\
 +
 +An overall capacity enhancement programme was designed in February 2014, and includes classical frontal training modules and other capacity enhancement activities (distance learning modules, helpdesk support etc.) to enhance Swazi Civil Society Organisations’ capacities in programme management. The programme is aimed to ensure that such capacities are retained, developed and also spread-out within civil society, helping civil society to take full charge of its own human resources capital, of its excellent intelligences and depths of thought, and to put structures and mechanisms in place to put this capital at value.

 +====OUR LEARNING PROGRAMME====
 +
 +Based on the assessment carried out upon project inception, a capacity enhancement programme has been designed to meet the needs of the Swazi Civil Society Organisations in the field of project design, project management and organisational development.
 +
 +The programme is delivered in English and includes several capacity development activities, such as:
 +  *Classical frontal training modules on Project Cycle Management and its phases, access and management of EU funded projects. They are addressed to Swazi Civil Society Organisations’ personnel.
 +The number of participants for each module is limited (max 20 people), and one participant per organisation is usually considered. Admission to all modules is subject to confirmation: a proper application process is usually launched to select participants basing on pre-defined criteria agreed upon with representatives of CANGO, FSEJ and SCCCO. The key target of the module is the Swazi personnel who work in organisations who are actively coordinating with other organisations and who have internal mechanisms in place to be able to use the provided training for the benefit of the other organisation’ s staff.
 +  *Distance learning courses on the same topics dealt during the classical frontal training modules. They are also addressed to Swazi CSOs staff. An ad hoc e-learning platform was created for the management of the distance learning courses. To access the platform and participate to the courses, interested Swazi CSOs staff need to register. \\
 +The learning process is also supported by the help-desks and by some key resources (documents, tools, training materials etc.) that can be seen and downloaded here:
